Only a few left that is trying hard to keep this team alive. Those that try to keep the past alive and still strife for whats ahead. Yeah those that can juggle whats in their hands pretty well. Lets continue playing together. Be it years later when we start to get busy with work, family or when we are already 40. Hey we started liking football since we were kids. Commentary starts,

The match kicked off with a lousy start for England. Poor passing poor teamwork. Most of the time Ukraine dominated. As John Terry heads the ball towards Peter Crouch, Peter Crouch with his usual gay ass long skinny legs reflex, he made a freaking wtf high volley/scissors kick and the ball hits the keeper's head but it didn't stop the ball from going into the net and it is a goal!

Second half kicked off with Ukraine still having most of the possession. Suddenly Ukraine's manager decided sub Andriy Voronin off with Andriy Shevchenko. Later on David Beckham replaced Aaron Lennon. Soon after that Sergei Nazarenko replaced Sergei Valyaev. Out of nowhere Andriy Shevchenko scores! England's manager decided to sub Peter Crouch off with S.W.P. Ukraine's equaliser was brought down to nothing as England scores again with a shot...? More like a fluke shot which looked like a pass by John Terry few minutes before injury time. Right after that Rio Ferdinand got sub off with Phil Jagielka which I guess England got cocky! So which a pussy strategy England decided to waste some time till the referee blows the whistle. The match ended with England tasting the victory.

Recent match statistics clearly indicates that S&R's style of football has to be amended. As attendance began to fall - some/most of us skip training sessions as well as missing matches which may have resulted to this poor form. It is probably time to recruit more regular players to ensure the future of this team. As discussed by Wai and Hoe, there won't be any fixtures until the team stabilizes itself. The match against BHK has been confirmed. We have never played them before so we have no idea what they're style is like. Tomorrow is Kedricks official debut, so give him some encouragement. This post is specially dedicated to monsieur Lee Chee Hoe, who celebrates his 19th(we presume) birthday. Long has it been since the time that he could barely stand on two feet, steal cookies and get away with it. As of this day, he enters manhood, an age of maturity and the beginning of additional responsibilities (No more stealing cookies ah chee hoe). We, as members of shared interest, shall stand by him through many tackles, dribbles and goals. And together, we are strong, like never before. Hmmm the very thought of having to play them is daunting, yet every bit enticing, and we did so with one substitute on the bench- Gideon. After a series of precise(?) passes, crosses, headers and blunders, we churned out a fair result and lost by the smallest of margins. I felt that we all did great, but we could have been better with adequate cover for each positions because 12 people in a team doesn't really give us a world of options. Ideally, we have 22 members in the squad, but there hasn't been a time when more than 15 ppl turned up, siannn. More ppl come leh. Yeap so pls try to make it for next week's match against BHK.

Sri Cempaka dominated the first half of the match with overwhelming possession. S&R formidable defense allowed the opponent to penetrate easily with decent chances. Unfortunately for S&R, Cempaka broke the deadlock at the 23rd minute making the score 1 - 0. The keeper had no chance as the ball was heading for the far right corner of the post. Players from both sides brought the tempo to a whole new level with a repertoire of sliding tackles and tactical passes till half time. Half time was the key to revival as S&R re-organized their formation with Henry's Hourglass suggestion (4-2-1-3).

The second half was a counterpart of the first as S&R players started taking a more offensive approach to score goals. During 64th minute, Jovy had a chance to grab the equalizer but his attempt was in vain as the ball headed straight for the goalkeeper. In 73rd minute, Jeremy engaged himself in a controversial challenge where he was supposingly elbowed from the back. Questions as to whether a penalty should be given was unheeded; however, match officials claimed that the challenge was legal and that the game should continue as it is (This sentence is crap HAHAHA)l. Towards the climax of the game, Meng wai completed his teams revival by lobbing the ball over the goalkeeper at the 82nd minute. Instantaneously, the game became a struggle for supremacy. The game ended 1 - 1.

Recently, S&R recruited 2 players. First up, a boy who would replace Jeremy's title as the youngest in the team, his name is Kedrick (Goalkeeper). Though he is quite a talented young lad, only time will help his skills reach maturity under Ben's supervision. Unfortunately, Kedrick is on Holiday now XD, so he won't play with us this week. However, we still have Justin. Justin addition to our squad would be a great boost to our midfield as well as defensive areas.
